> DEPARTMENTAL ELECTIVE COURSES

Consist of the Elective Courses offered by ECED and are listed with regular courses.

> FACULTY ELECTIVE COURSES

Are the courses offered by the other Engineering Departments at appropriate level; they are subject to the consent of the adviser concerning the fulfillment of the prerequisites and are announced each semester.

> UNIVERSITY ELECTIVE COURSES

These courses can be chosen among the courses offered by other Faculties, subject to the approval of the advisor and are announced each semester.

> TRACKS

A student choosing one of the following tracks must take at least 2 of the track courses.

Electronics: CEE422, CEE423, CEE424, CEE425, CEE426, CEE468

Communications: CEE413, CEE414, CEE415, CEE416, CEE417, CEE422, CEE451

Signal Processing: CEE431, CEE432, CEE434, CEE417, COME342, COME381

> LEGEND FOR COURSE NUMBER CODING

1st Integer: the year,2nd Integer: area (modulo 4),
3rd Integer: even for spring, odd for fall.

Areas: 0 for Basic Elec.Engr., 1 for Communications, 2 for Electronics, 3 for Discrete-Digital.

Example: 413 (or 453) means a 4th year course in the communication area in the fall semester.
